In Russian, “wounded autumn” is the time in late November right before the first snowfalls. The leaves have mostly fallen… the trees are bare… the days are shorter… the temps are falling. Oddly enough, “wounded spring” is the beginning of the reawakening of the earth after its winter rest. Go figure…
