Kulturpalast (Palace of Culture). West Exterior Façade Mural. Dresden (Freistaates Sachsen) GERMANY (originally, GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC)
NB:
This mural has been a protected state cultural artefact since 2001. This is due to the fact that Die Linke (“The Left”: an anti-capitalist Democratic Socialist party, the successor of the DDR’s SED) is strongest in Sachsen, preventing some of the anti-Left cultural and intellectual vandalism committed by the Right found in some parts of German society.
